Physical Access
The Angie Shannon Elementary Library opens everyday at 7:20am for student, staff, and community usage. During school hours (7:45-2:45) the library follows a flexible scheduling format to allow class check-outs and lessons, as well as small group and individual access. The library remains open after school until 3:15 for student, staff, and community inquiry. After 3:15, the library is used for clubs, meetings, and other scholastic events.
Virtual Access
Students, staff, and community members have 24/7 access to the library website, Destiny Quest catalog system, databases, and educational websites.
The following is a graph that depicts the library facility's usage. The graph is updated monthly to reflect the previous month's usage.

Circulation
ASEL has recently collaborated with the local public library to make eBook access easier for students. Please see the Services page for a more detailed explanation. The following graph shows the number of students per grade level who checked out books versus eBooks in the month of March.

Funding is utilized differently each month to support library programs and collection development.
In March, funding was primarily used to build our eBook collection. Funds were also used in purchasing refreshments and prizes for the upcoming Family Literacy Night.
